Soceeo allows members that frequently play board games to create a social community that will connect them with other board game players. Members can customize a different tab for every game, and then set up a forum that will allow members to discuss their game. Anything from strategy to rules of the game. Players can comment on other member’s posts as well as posting their own topic. By using the media tab, members can post photos and videos that will coincide with their favorite board game. For example, a member can post an instructional video explaining their favorite Scrabble strategies. The news tab will allow members to post their favorite blogs or articles found on the web for other members to view or comment on. By inserting the RSS feed into the required section, a network can be constantly populated with the member’s favorite board game website. The calendar tab will allow members to set up a game playing night with other members of the network. This will make it easy to organize a favorite night of game playing for everyone. When an event is posted to the calendar, a notice will appear on the homepage under “Upcoming Events”. This will remind members to save the day. The add stuff box on the group home page allows members to add fun videos, photos and widgets right to the homepage. This allows the network to be more creative, customized and fun for the entire network. Networks can be created either public or private, and can be customized in terms of color, logo and background. Soceeo allows its members that belong to a church the ability to create a network that will help the church members connect with one another. By using the calendar tab, members can post important dates and events to remind members of the church to tune in or keep the date open. The media tab will let each member update photos or videos for all of the parish to view and comment on. The discussion board will act as a forum of interests, concerns, or comments along with increasing connection and ideas amongst the church community. Soceeo provides its members the ability to set up a network that allows people attending a conference to connect before, during, and afterwards. Before the conference takes place, the speaker list and information regarding the topic can be posted under the discussion board tab. During the conference they’ll be able to check the attendees, look at their profiles, and find out information about them while networking by using their mobile web browser. After the conference, they can use the media tab to post videos and pictures from the event for everyone to comment on. Also, it makes it easy to keep in contact with one another for future references. By using the polls tab on each network, members can vote on what they thought was the best and worst part of the event. As with all networks created, each network has the option of being public or private. Members can also send an email to one another from their Soceeo network to an email address outside the network. Using Soceeo to help collaberate ideas and connect with one another will make conferences much more organized and easy to conduct. 

Even if Soceeo seems to be concentrating on collaborating ideas and aggregating content, that doesn’t mean they are giving the importance of “fun” the short end of the stick.  Members have the option to upload an unlimited amount of widgets to their network. Having different widgets to go along with the theme of the network can make things exciting. If the member is a fan of Kobe Bryant, maybe they want to post a widget that keeps track of his latest stats. If they have a mortgage company, add a widget that posts the rates as they change everyday. Or just post a widget for good old glitz and glam. Its totally up to the user. Soceeo not only has an add widgets option on the group homepage, but with the addition of the add stuff box, you can mix and match your widgets with other fun options like pictures, videos, and games. Soceeo provides schools everywhere an opportunity to form their own community (public or private) for students and teachers to be able to interact efficiently. Teachers and students have the option to send a private message to one another within the created network but also with the discussion board feature, have the option to start a collaborative conversation amongst the students. The calendar tab will allow teachers to post assignments, important notices, events etc. for all students and other faculty members to see. If things change, rather than having to email everyone, just simply change the event on the calendar and a notice will be displayed showing the calendar change. Once again, this helps gather constructive discussion between student and teacher. The Files tab allows teachers to download, upload, and save files to the created network. One of the many uses for this can be teachers posting the homework assignments for all students to see right there on the network. Each network comes standard with 1GB of space for members to utilize. Teachers and students may use the News Tab to be able to post articles, blogs, and other information they think is necessary. Another impressive feature, is the import options available within the news tab. Members can import content from Technorati, Twitter, Google News, Tumblr and other different sources simply by typing in a username or keyword. RSS importing is also an option. Members can add the RSS feed link directly into the necessary box and have the News tab constantly populating simultaneously with other sites. Soceeo believes that content aggregation combined with members being able to collaborate their ideas easily is what makes Soceeo a significant benefit for students and teachers all over the world.

Musicians, for obvious reasons, are always looking for ways to gain publicity. Of course, it never hurts to network either (especially those that are trying to get off the ground). Soceeo offers members that are musicians to start their own community with endless features to enable the user to not only display their talent, but to get accurate feed back from listeners. The Media tab allows the network creator the ability to post pictures and videos of themselves and band members doing what they do best. You can choose to upload from your computer or paste the embedded code into its proper box to post your content. Do you have a Youtube page? By entering your user-name in the proper box, you can import all of your content from your youtube profile directly into your Soceeo network. That way you can have a network that is constantly populating simultaneously. Another feature offered is the calendar tab that enables the user to post all of its upcoming shows and appearances for all of their fans to follow. If fans want to come see their favorite artist perform, they know exactly when and where to go. Along with that is the option to export to outlook and ical. Networks are all equipped with a discussion board that allows its members to interact and give feedback to the artist. They have the ability to post a poll by using the poll tab. The artist can ask the fans what song they like best for example. Soon to come is the shop section of the network. Here the members can buy items sold by the artist. Accounts are set up using paypal. Of course privacy to all users is Soceeo’s number one priority. No doubt musicians can capitalize on the many benefits Soceeo has to offer.

Creating your own social network for your youth baseball league with Soceeo

I remember (a long time ago) there was nothing better than good ole Little League Baseball. Without question one of every grade school athlete’s favorite time of the year. I also remember all the endless amounts of papers the coaches would hand us out for our parents to see. Schedules, thank you notes, refreshment reminders, and the list goes on. Fact of the matter is most of those papers ended up in the garbage of course. I also recall all the ridiculous amounts calls and voice messages from the coaches when the game was either relocated or cancelled. Use the Polls tab to create fun polls for everyone. “who will win it all this year?”  ”What would you all like for treats?” etc. And we can’t forget having the messages tab to allow all the players to be able to “smack talk” to one another. Of course the adults will be able to monitor it to be sure they “keep it clean”. Don’t forget all of these tabs can be customized to be named whatever it is you want. (along with color schemes, widgets, music and many other options) Soceeo feels that having one place where everyone can come and interact with one another will make youth baseball everywhere a more enjoyable experience for us all.

Soceeo’s latest feature the “Add Stuff” box allows its members to apply anything from photos, videos, or the latest cool widget simply by adding in its embeded code. The add stuff box appears on the group homepage and could also be renamed simply by clicking the “edit” tab located directly to the right of the title. Users may want to upload a slide show of their favorite entertainer, watch a movie, play a game, or post a photo right their on the homepage. The add stuff box makes this all possible and it is so incredibly easy to do! This is just another addition to the plethora of features Soceeo has to offer not just for complete customization, but to make things even more fun as well!
